How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
During the pandemic, world leaders abused their populations in the name of “science.” I personally remember people having their businesses destroyed, people who were sunbathing on empty beaches going to jail (an enclosed place where the virus had no power, apparently), and others being threatened to get the shot or be fired from their jobs.
All of that was made in the name of “science.” And now we know that all those measures of lockdown, masks, social distancing, and the shots were not science-based but bureaucratic-based.
The pandemic was a great opportunity for greedy politicians to grab more power and subjugate their populations. They could come up with any dumb idea to contain or fight the virus, and the media would give them the perfect cover-up. All in the name of “science.” And if you disagreed with some measure, you were labeled a granny killer science denier, and they pushed this propaganda so strongly that people were afraid to speak their minds. And the ones who did were immediately silenced by, “You’re a science denier!”

I don’t deny the COVID virus and the danger it represented. My dad got it back then and spent a week in the hospital because of that. During that period, I stayed with him there and saw firsthand many people suffering and dying because of it.
And I still believe in science, the true science, that old one based on serious and broad studies and that has a method that can be replicated by anyone, anywhere. However, the pandemic proved that this term “science” can be hijacked by anyone wearing scrubs and used to manipulate people even concerning the little aspects of their lives.
Today, when I see someone saying, “But the science says…” I immediately do my research on serious and credible sources like PubMed.
But I know that if another virus arises, all that will be ignored again. Governments will couple up with the media and will tell people a distorted version of the facts, everything for the sake of manipulation and control.
