As a writer, I’m coffee-moved; caffeine, to be more precise. That’s how I start my day, with a big cup of coffee.
Then I start working on my book, and since it’s an epic fantasy, it’s full of things that don’t exist. That’s when I begin imagining ideas so out-of-the-box that I feel like I’m hallucinating.
While doing this, I have to see our world through the lens of magic. Everything must be unusual, fun, and engaging. It’s a hard task since our world and how it works is pretty much already established, so I have to sprinkle magic on small things, such as benches, and on big ones, such as the White House. Yes, in my book even the President’s home is involved with magic.
It’s a pretty rewarding task; I have lots of fun while doing all that. In a sense, my book has everything I’d like to see in our world, or at least, a magical way to explain why our world is so broken. I do that with mythical beings, secret conspiracies championed by powerful witchers, and also dinosaurs, but just because I love them.
If you are curious to see what a book like this looks like, feel free to check it out. I bet you’ll never see our world the same way after reading it.
