Okay, but isn’t this prompt about being someone else? Well, when my older self comes to be, I’ll be no more, the same way my child self is no more while I still am.
But why would I like to be my older self for a day? To know if my plans went right, if I managed to achieve my goals, and what should I do and avoid doing today. Time fascinates me, and as it says in my book, “The past is the only thing that really exists; the present is confusing because of its infinite possibilities; and the future is just pure speculation.”
But there’s a chance that I’m already getting everything right, doing my best to achieve my goals, and headed to live the life of my dreams. In this case, if I were my old self for a day and someone asked me to go back, I’d do like one of my favorite heroes of all time and say, “No, I don’t think I will.”
